Are you a Vancouver-based web designer who wants to give back to your community? If so, we’d love to hear from you! Project True is urgently seeking a web designer who can help us reach our goals and expand into a resource to empower thousands of people who are struggling with eating disorders across Canada.

As we’re a budding nonprofit, we can’t afford a salary at this point, but we can offer you a yoga membership at your favourite studio in the city. If sun salutations aren’t your thing, we’re also open to suggestions if there’s something else that excites you! As for the people, you’ll get a chance to work with a stellar team of medical experts, wellness practitioners, lawyers and marketing professionals, each fuelled by a burning desire to create positive change.

Still interested? Here’s what we could use help with right away:

  • Updating our website images (like our cover photo on the front page) with empowering and on-brand visuals.
  • Building a more functional events page/calendar, and teaching our marketing team how to update it.
  • Making our website more intuitive and resourceful by adding layers. For example, we’d love to have a separate section for our book store (up til now, we’ve just been using our blog to post books reviews).
  • Make our Inspiration page even more inspiring, with a better layout and awesome graphics.
  • Setting up multiple users, so several people can easily blog under their own name.
  • Set up a rad About page, including profiles of our incredible team.
  • Bonus: we’d also love a new Facebook Timeline shot, and Twitter background.

If this sounds like something that won’t take you too much time — and that helping our cause is exciting to you — please email bianca(at)indabadigital(d0t)com with a sample of your work, and a quick message letting us know why you want to get involved with Project True (and yes, expanding your portfolio is a totally legit answer!).
